Electromagnetic Flow meters are normally used in measuring the flow of conductive liquid in the closed pipeline, after you ordered the flow meters, we will delivery the instruments to you within 3~5 working days, please check the procedures and instructions below after you receive the magnetic flow meter.

Step 1.Open- Package Inspections

Before installing the flow meters, check whether the instruments are damaged physically due to transportation. Report to DFDS after-sales department if there is any damage on packing.

Step 2.Installation field delivery

Please note that when delivering the instruments to the installation field. Please use the elevator belt when delivering the flange type flow meter (≤DN 45018”) and fix the position with the two flanges. Chains are forbidden due to abrading the housings.

Step 3. Flow meter installation environment selection

1. Choosing the place where no motors, no transformers are nearby, powerful electromagnetic wave may generate electrical interference.

2. When measuring a mixed-phase medium, the flow meters shouldnt be mounted on someplace where the mixed-phase is separating.

3. When the environment temperature is between -25 °C~ + 60 °C, direct sunlight is better to be avoided.

4. Install the place where is free from vibration or little vibration, if strong vibration exists, fix support is required before and after the flow meter.

5. Temperature humidity should be within 5% ~9%

6. Direct raining and immersion should be avoided.

Step 4. Installation place and fluids direction.
