The oval gear flowmeter is a positive-displacement metering instrument designed for continuous or intermittent measurement and control of liquid flow in pipelines. It offers a wide rangeability, high accuracy, low pressure drop, strong adaptability to viscosity variations, and the capability to measure high-temperature and high-viscosity liquids. In addition, it features convenient calibration and ease of installation. The LC Series oval gear flowmeter is equipped with a mechanical totalizer incorporating both a pointer and digit-wheel register, enabling direct on-site display of the cumulative volume of liquid passing through the pipeline. When supplemented with a pulse transmitter or signal output device integrated into the counting mechanism, and used in conjunction with electronic display instruments, the flowmeter supports remote centralized control for totalization, batching, and instantaneous flow rate indication. Furthermore, by fitting a heat dissipater or employing a partial-tooth gear design, the flowmeter can be adapted for measurement of high-temperature and high-viscosity fluids.
